Learning and faith-formation goals are clearly outlined at the beginning of each lesson, along with the Key Terms that will appear in the lesson. These terms are defined in a comprehensive Glossary.
Each topic is explored against the backdrop of the Church’s core beliefs, traditions and values, and students are always encouraged to apply what they are learning to their own lived experience.
Key Skills are identified at the start of every activity.
Opportunities for prayer are provided in each lesson, and there are specific prayer services to mark key moments in the liturgical year.
Key features of the TEACHER’S RESOURCE (downloadable pdfs)
The Teacher’s Resource for each programme is provided as a pdf. It contains embedded links to worksheets, videos, music and other resources, as well as to assessments and answer keys, all of which are referenced in the Student Textbook.
The Teacher’s Resource also contains additional background information and practical advice in relation to the content covered in the Student Textbook, as well as supplementary and optional extension activities.
Assessments are provided in Word format, allowing teachers to adapt them as needed.

Fully Alive 1 (YEAR 8) Student Texbook
Among the key themes for Year 8 are the Bible, Advent and Christmas, Jesus’ early years and his work on earth, the Resurrection and its aftermath, and life in the Church today.
Note: Fully Alive 1 was previously available in an online format, consisting of PowerPoints and Teacher’s Notes. It is now available as a printed textbook.
